Hello Burners! SN10 is almost here! We can't wait for you to join us for this wonderful event!
Tickets are now $40. All sales must now be completed at the Gate when you arrive! If you have already purchased your ticket your name will be on our Will Call list. Please bring your Paypal receipt to help confirm your ticket order.
The Gate opens at 2 PM on June 17th. Please review the Survival Guide for the complete Gate hours and arrival instructions.
You Must read the Survival Guide thoroughly before attending SN10! Some information has changed from past years and we want you to be prepared.
Large and small art is more than welcome whether it is registered or not. Bring your art or installation and we will have some VIP's (Very Involved Participants) ready to help you find the perfect location for your piece.
Be prepared for Rain! The forecast is showing cloudy days for next weekend, but SN10 will still be an amazing experience if you are Prepared. Bring umbrellas, ponchos, and plenty of tarps. Pack carefully and try not to bring items that could be damaged by rain. If the ground is still very wet you will have to park on the gravel and carry your items in to your campsite. We will do our best to help with large items but please pack with this in mind. Don't worry though, good times will be had, Rain or Shine!
Come visit our "HQ" located at the stage. There will be the Burner Boutique, Medic Station, and a Message center to leave each other notes and announce events. This will also be a great place to grab some shade or get out of the rain. On Saturday afternoon we will have a fabulous Art Grants Award Ceremony and all are welcome to celebrate the award recipients with us at HQ.

With this years theme of Awakenings the Effigy Crew is asking for contributions of personal artwork, totems, iconography, pictures, and anything representing a personal awakening. There will be space for your contributions and as long as it's cleanly burnable it can go up in the flames of the effigy. Whether it's a small sheet of paper with a poem or a full out alter, bring it along and add it to the effigy.
Here are a few definitions & examples of awakenings that were found on the internet:
An "awakening" is a moment of clarity in which a new insight or understanding is gained. With this new awareness the experience of life is seen differently, and new possibilities are opened. Changes in patterns of thought, emotions, and behavior occur. An awakening allows the possibility of growth to new levels of psychological and spiritual maturity.
The act of awaking, or ceasing to sleep. Specifically: A revival of religion, or more general attention to religious matters than usual.
Making conscious or alert
The start of a feeling or awareness in a person
The act of arousing; "the purpose of art is the arousal of emotions"
Arousing or reviving, as of impulses, religion, etc.
